Anyone out there dealt with the facility in Battle Creek, MI.
I still have nightmare about this place and am trying to get my money back.
Just what I needed -- a rehab run by ex addicts. I have enough stories to curl your hair--from sex going on, staff fired? let go? quit? under questionable circumstance to no hand sanitizer in class rooms cuz' someone drank it. One transport employee was let go for drinking and having sex with a student. This came from both the transport guy and the student.
I got along with about 12 to 15 students when I was there and called them after I got out--all of them were back out.
I also smiled pretty thru the whole process and said whatever they wanted me to say to get through it--I made it just one week shy of graduation.
As with most new students, their family thinks they are just trying to ge out of rehab and don't believe whats going on. My family was the same way.
My roommate smuggled in a digital camera and took indecent pictures of hersel to give to her boyfriend (she met him in narconon and went thru the program together). This was cut short after she cut her leg and the staff came running to our room and uncovered what was going on. She was suspended but came back.
Smoking was rampant in the rooms, the rooms were overcrowded and filthy. The filthy language was as bad among the staff as the students.
I could go on and on about this place.

Please report issues with your experience to the Michigan Licensing authorities. There is information on this website on how to report or email me and I will give you a long list of various places to report. One voice will likely be hard to hear but if numerous victims provide information, a difference can be made. You sound like someone the authorities would be happy to speak with. They are very interested in learning about your experience, please file complaints. Do not let Stonehawk continue to take advantage of folks. To learn that the owner's made over $600,000 last year as a couple should make folks even more angry! Speak up and help create change.
