Title: Hello, I'm new on Narconon Victims
Description: My Story

Fight Narconon - March 4, 2007 12:05 PM (GMT)
Hi there, I'm new on this site. I've never personally been involved with a Narconon program, however my common-law partner of almost two years is admitted (since January 29th, 2007). I am literally naseous, knowing what my future husband and father of my children is being subjected to.

I'd be at a loss for words if I wasn't so venomous right now. This place is bad news ... if they mention their supposed "success" rate, ask for their source. Do it, they will not release where they get their statistics from. Is that good enough for you? Their statistics are NOT valid. They can't provide proof. Their methods are merely theoretical; the "detoxification" exercise has not medicinally been proven effective. The "educated" staff are holding our loved ones in their hands. It's a sick recruit; that's simply it. This program offers nothing if you're not looking for a religion to indirectly grasp and become a part of.

I'm not only looking to vent; I wish there was some way to take action; even if it's insignificant. I suppose I can begin with my word of mouth. There is so much contradicting evidence against Narconon. I wish society would just believe the facts; not dismiss them, and terminate the entire program all together. One step at a time.

In conclusion, I must say I have absolute compassion for every individual that has been affected negatively by Narconon. I haven't attended myself; I can't fathom the intensity. Narconon is corrupt. I want to fight it; it's affected my life through my love. Thanks for your time, I'm looking forward to future discussions.

Sorry to hear about your situation. You do have recourse. Contact John Wilhelmesen, 517-241-1970, he is over licensing of substance abuse facilities in Michigan. The state officials need formal complaints to act, so if you have a complaint please let him know. I suspect that the more complaints that can be filed and investigated, the more likely official action can be taken. Do not underestimate the power of one voice! Good luck.
